Hi, I'm new here, both to the message board, and to the world of Street Hawk. Well, the reason I'm posting here is that if any fans who live in North Carolina that has Digital TV, or Digital Cable, Retro Television Network (Channel 50.2, or Time-Warner Digital Cable Channel 251 in NC) has started airing Street Hawk, two episodes every Saturday beginning at 5:00pm. I don't know if every state that gets RTN has the same schedule, but it might be worth checking out to see if your local RTN affiliate has the show in their schedule. Also, it could also be a good opportunity to get new encodes of the show, since the best quality episodes available are the ones from Finland with subtitles. If I had the know how, the equipment, and very reliable reception of RTN, I'd do it myself.

Wow, Very cool - I hope somebody can record them. When SubTV in Finland showed Re-Runs of the show, it was shown alongside MacGyver. Bravo ran the show in 2001 and they made some brilliant "Street Hawk vs. K.I.T.T." promotional video shorts. Just out of interest, does anyone here have those as .avi's? Welcome, and thanks for posting!

Unfortunately, although all the other series RTN airs are uncut as they were originally broadcast Street Hawk is not. The show started 2 weeks ago, and so far every print I've seen has been the same as used in the shows mid-80's syndication run. Approx 3 minutes are removed from each show, and the original commercial breaks are not taken. It's a shame Universal supplied the network with these instead of the full uncut versions.

Hey Judgedredd,
Welcome! I didn't want to overlook the fact that you're a new member, and it's cool that you logged on just to give us Street Hawk members a heads-up. Thanks!
I checked the "Retro Television Network" website, I couldn't locate Street Hawk showing at the time you indicated. Are they advertising it will be showing in the future? I'm not sure RTN even airs on Time Warner in California, but if it is, maybe they're showing it here too?

KAIL-DT2 - Fresno Digital 7.2; Comcast Cable Ch. 191 KRET-TV - Palm Springs Time Warner Cable Ch. 14 KRON-DT - San Francisco KEYT-DT2 - Santa Barbara Actually even though the show isn't listed, anyone who can get KAIL-DT2 should watch between 6pm and 8pm on Saturday. It doesn't show up on my KEGS schedule as Street Hawk until close to Saturday. Before that it just says Movie just like the KAIL schedule.

Yeah, RTN has a bad habit of not keeping their schedule up to date. The airing of Street Hawk happened quite suddenly as they were showing NBC Mystery Movie (switching back and forth between McMillan & Wife, and McCloud) I normally don't watch it, but I was bored, and instead of the Mystery Movie they were airing Street Hawk.
Another thing about RTN's airing is that they are showing the episodes out of order. Were the Finnish subbed ones uncut or are they edited for syndication too?

Yep, KEGS was airing the Mystery Movie too, that's where Street Hawk is. I have another RTN that aired the MM, but I haven't checked to see if Street Hawk is airing on that one too. The Finnish episodes are uncut, no edits.
