I got Photoshop last weekend, and tonight I used it for the first time. To get accustomed to it, I decided to make a modern bike look Streethawk-esque. It's not amazing, but I like it and its not bad for a first try, so thought I would share I should have made the windshield a bit higher. Fixed the pic Hi Telove, Well as you say its only your first time so its a good effort, once you get a bit more practice in you should be flying at it. Its stuff like this that will be keeping the SH fan community alive and I hope you get encouragement from more than just me because once you get handy with PS you can do anything. I see you used a Buell

Thanks! And yeah, I just saw it and thought it looked like a really nice bike. I know Streethawk was an offroad scrambler rather than a road bike, but I always would have liked to see it as a road bike, so I made it Its nice to be able to play around with this stuff too. I think Streethawk looks amazing, and yet some parts of it I think look a bit dated. So Photoshop is great because you can try stuff out for yourself. I love the hawk beak shape at the front of Streethawk, so I tried to copy that from memory, but I made it a bit small I think, and its a bit too low. And then I don't like the very square shape of the back of Streethawk, so I tried to make that a bit more rounded and angled, but I messed that up. I really liked making it though. Making everything black was easy, and making the shape of the bike was easy too, but unfortunately, some of the bits I drew, look a bit obvious. The back mainly. I think I will get better at that with practice, and hopefully I can make it look a bit more like its a part of the bike too, because in the picture, it looks a bit too obviously painted on. It was fun though And besides doing funny things to people's faces, I can't think of much else I would rather play around with, than a really nice looking bike.

You know, unless you decide to physically make Street Hawk the way you envision it, then this is as close as you are going to get. I have a load of SH pics from Chris Bromhams restoration of the back in 01, you're more than welcome to them if you want to photoshop 'em. Well either way, keep hacking away and keep us posted

I'll pm you now. And yeah, no doubt they would screw it up haha. I'd love to see it done well though.. Maybe some day. Hey Telove, That's very creative and I can definately see the Street Hawk influence. I think this sort of stuff is great and I really appreciate you sharing! Thanks! Thanks! I might make a better one some time. I finally downloaded the torrent of all the episodes and I'm watching it again, for the first time in probably 20 years or something... Such a great show! I am starting to appreciate the bike being an off roader rather than a road bike too. It does go offroad quite often in Streethawk so it makes sense to build it based on an off road scrambling bike. It looks way better than I expected too... It didn't really age that much. I'm not even a big bike fan, I don't own one and don't even have my bike license, but still... I love Streethawk These 80's American shows really knew what they where doing. It's like TV perfection by numbers. All maybe a little cliched nowdays, but they just knew how to make the most out of these things, like when you first see the bike, and its shrouded in mist And rather than driving out of some garage... they have it jumping out of those doors hehe. Lots of nice little touches and the stories seem good too. I really am surprised the series kind of came and went like that... It seems really special to me.

I made another one. I like this one more I think I did better, even if I do say so myself I made a road bike into a dirt bike. Looks pretty rugged with those big chunky wheels! This one has the flared thing on the bottom to let it fly too And it has the little gun barrels and a chrome jet engine thingy on the back. Heheheh Im such a dork.. This was fun though. I made it from this bike: All this looking at bikes makes me want one... Hmm They are beautiful machines.

Hey Telove,
The nose looks great, I think you nailed that part on your second try.
The rest of the bike looks too "naked", I would add some front flares and also cover up the standard mechanicals with some more futuristic looking stuff.
I'm with you regarding the admiration of motorcycles without ever having owned or rode on one. They're too risky for my taste, but I love the speed and freedom they represent.

Yeah they are great I rode on a dirt bike as a kid, and I've been on the back of a road bike as someone else rode it and I held on Too risky for my taste too but it's so tempting.. And yeah I was really happy with the nose on my pic. I couldn't get the back to look good. I tried lots of things. On a normal bike it just kind of goes up and to a point at the back, and it looks cool. But to fit a rocket booster, it would need some room in there I might add some stuff to the naked middle bit. It's fun being able to do stuff like that Photoshop is amazing.

Hows this! Less naked, and I fixed a few bits. Changed the back so it looks less Wacky Races And I made the steel look like blackened steel, and fixed the back tyre and a few other tweaks. I really like this one. Don't know if I could improve this without just making a SH clone And zoomed in a bit: I wanna ride that! Ideally with the vertical lift and stuff ;D
