Hey Josh, I was wondering, I've been working on a diostory for Street Hawk, and I'd really like to get it hosted on here (either the main site or the message board). I have GI Joe diostory hosted at the following location: www.checkpointalpha.com/pentastar/My Street Hawk diostory would look very much like this; there would be numerous .jpg files with comic book style captions. I was wondering if this is something you'd be able to post somewhere on the website? Please let me know, thanks.

I don't see any reason why I couldn't host it on the website. Send it over when it is done and I will get it uploaded.

Awesome,
Chapter 1 is almost finished. Once it's done I'll send it your way.
The wife and kids are going up North to visit my wife's family for a week, so I'll be home alone with plenty of time to finish Chapter 1 and maybe get some work on Chapter 2 finished (I need to build the interior of Norman's house)
Thanks, you're the greatest Josh!

Hey Josh,
I e-mailed you chapters 1 & 2. Please let me know if you'll be able to post the story on the website. If you can, I promise that more chapters will follow!
Thanks!

Scott. Great! I'll look forward to reading it!
Josh. I have been going through piles of old disks recently and have a lot of Street Hawk misc. pics and audio streams and stuff. It'd like to be able to share them, clear some off my hard drive finally before it crashes next! LoL Just wondered if you'd like them for the site. I know you said recently that you were not really looking to do anything more with the site. I just thought it might be nice to pad it out with some "fresh" stuff so it attracts newcomers and/or return visitors. The offer is there anyway...
Cheers!

Send them my way and I will get the uploaded. For now I will probably just post links to the files here in the message board and when I get time I will modify the website.

Josh,
Oh man, that is fantastic! I love it! Dude, totally scrap that cover page I sent you, the one you created is WICKED!!!
Love it, love it, love it.
I noticed that the link for Chapter 2 takes you back to Chapter 1. I'm not sure you've had time to post Chapter 2 yet, so I'm not complaining.
Chapter 3 is 90% finished, Chapter 4 about 50%.
Wohoo! You made me a very happy man, Josh!

Hey Scott. [applause] You've been busy? This looks wicked! I look forward to the next chapter. This has got to be one of the most imaginative things that I've seen anyone do for Street Hawk. I bet you'd be screaming out for that Command Centre playset right now!!! What Street hawk model are you using? A new one, or?
Great work!

Thank you Dan! I sent Josh Chapter 3, so hopefully he'll have time to post them pretty soon. Chapters 2 & 3 are action packed, although Street Hawk doesn't make an appearance. We will meet up with Jesse Mach in Chapter 4. I'd like to apologize that the photography for Chapters 1 & 3 is a little grainy/blurry. I was experimenting with taking photographs in the dark, letting the flash do all the illuminating. While it did give me the whole night-time look I was going for, it negatively impacted the quality of the photographs. I'm wondering how I will do night-time photographs from now on (Street Hawk is kind of like Batman, he works best at night). Hope you guys enjoy the story. Oh, and Dan...half the fun is making your own Command Center

This is cool, Scott - more work than I have the patience for. I'll be waiting for the next chapter.
Did you use a tripod for the night-time photos? This should eliminate the blurring problem. What about external lighting on the subject with no flash? I have used a flashlight with a wide beam area. You can move it closer or farther away to increase/decrease light. You can also place it so that the light is indirect. We have a flashlight the has an adjustable head. It works great. I can move it where I want it and get direct and indirect light.

Hey Janice,
Thanks for the compliments.
I didn't use a tripod per-se, but I did stabalize it against a solid object before each shot. I also used a flashlight in order to get the camera auto-focus to work, then turned the flashlight off when it was in focus and took the shot. As you can see, my method yielded mixed results.
I do have a Mag light that has adjustable beam, I may try using that if I do night shots later on in the story.
Ok, well, gotta get to work building Norman's living room!
