Ducati - That's great to have confirmation that this actually was released! I was dubious, at first, but the Coupe was produced and I just considered that as a very strange thing to release first, rather than the bike. d**n, if I could only lay my hands on one of these I'd get to you to make it! LoL
And now, 2 Airfix models?! Interesting indeed ...
Where has 2FastForYou got to? I just read that he has received his bike and was due to poost pictures ages ago ...

Well Like I said I have held the plans long enough for 2fast4u, PM'd him, announced on the board that they were ready for him and finally I e-mailed him, I havent gotten a response. I am fairly pissed off about it actually.
Mmmm I was wondering about the models alright, I wonder how many were made? Probably very, very few.

Everywhere I went back in the 80's model shops, hobby shops, etc told me the bike was coming soon, etc. Then eventually they all told me the model kit was cancelled with none released. I've never seen one, and with the internet the way it is (and I've been online since 97) one would think a built kit, or one in a unopened box would have shown up somewhere.
Please keep digging and maybe you can turn up further info.

My first job was in Oct '86 at Toys By Roy in the local mall. I still have that 1985 MPC catalog and many others up until about 1990. I was a big fan of the show and looked everywhere using all of my resources at hand. I can tell you that my results netted the same answer as mentioned above...the motorcycle kit was never released by MPC (at the time), only the Mustang, though it did appear in the catalog.

No, "Street Hawk" series is not available on DVD. However, you could download all the episodes using a Torrent client: you can find the link on the "Street Hawk Online" site.
To use the "Street Hawk" bike on GTA San Andreas you need to download it from Internet and then you need to install it on the game. You can download a tutorial to understand the procedures to install a mod car/bike in this game.
I don't know the future plans of Universal, but I think it's very hard that they will release "Street Hawk" series on DVD.

Greg Hey Bullitt, Thanks for the insight into this. These days with the internet and eBay, it's a lot easier to track down obscure or rare collector items like these. So the fact that no evidence of this model has surfaced supports your claim; none of these kits were ever manufactured. It sure is a shame.

Yes that was original Artwork for the MPC Streethawk model from one of their old Catalogs (1985 Catalog), as a kid I actually called the company Long-Distance before they went out of business or were bought out, I was told because the series wasn't as popular as Knight Rider only Jessie Mach's Car was produced but the Streethawk Bike was never completed.
It's a real shame for any Streethawk fan, hopefully the show will be released on DVD and generate enough interest that someone will make an accurate Toy or Model!
