All this birthday wishing is making me feel left out, with Scott last month, Janice this month. This won't do at all, therefore I have assigned myself a SECOND birthday! LoL
Henceforth, my birthday will now fall on December 25th - rather fitting me thinks! :-) In the words of Homer Simpson: "Mmmnnn, sacrilegious!"

All this birthday wishing is making me feel left out, with Scott last month, Janice this month. This won't do at all, therefore I have assigned myself a SECOND birthday! LoL When my son turned 4 this year he really enjoyed getting presents...so much so that for the next 2 months he kept saying "I want my birthday again! Today's my birthday!" He'd get really upset when we'd try to explain that his birthday only comes once a year. Any similarities between Dan and a 4-year-old are purely coincidental. Happy Burfday Janice! Only another 21 days and you'll be getting even MORE prezzies! Doesn't it kind of stink to have your birthday in December, Janice? It kind of gets lumped together with Christmas. My birthday in mid-November wasn't too bad, but I still kind of wished it wasn't so close to Thanksgiving. It was also a bummer to have birthday parties when it was cold and raining outside. On the plus side, when I was a kid all the new toys for Christmas were usually out by then.

Thanks Stef. The only downside is you only get presents once a year.
December birthdays are a blessing and a curse. Yes sometimes you get more gifts. Other times your gifts are split between Christmas & your birthday. You almost never get a big birthday gift. Sometimes people totally forget your birthday (my mother has done this more than once). It's worse when your birthday is closer to Christmas. I have several friends with Dec 26 birthdays. They say it sucks. My poor hubby gets hit really hard. First is my b-day, then Christmas, our anniversary is the end of January and then Valentine's Day.
Funny about your son Scott. I share my birthday with my oldest sister (I'm the youngest - we are 12 years apart). My other sister's birthday is 3 weeks before. One year when I was little I told my mother that the next year I wanted to have my birthday with my other sister. I did not quite get that you could not change the date.

I trust you all to get me a present when my posts on this board get to '1000' LoL :-) Note to Josh : And I no longer want to be "I wish I was Street Hawk" - "I AM Street Hawk" or better still, "EMPEROR DAN" is much more fitting. You know it makes sense... :-)

No fair! I wanted to be Norman Tuttle.
I don't see why we're rewarding Dan for talking too much.
Just kiddding Dan.
