It was announced yesterday that George Clooney was in my area a couple of weeks ago scouting hotels for his new movie. He stayed at one of the hotels in our downtown and looked at another one in another county. Sorry guys. The movie isn't Street Hawk.

Oh yeah, I can just see it now,
"Stalker!?!? You're alive!!!"
"Haha, yeah man, good to see you too!"
"Uhhh, Kevin...what happened to your chin?"

It's funny. In the eighties when he first came on the scene, I thought George Clooney was great stuff. I was thrilled to see him in SH, but it fizzled out. I have never even seen one of his movies. I've not been a big fan since.
It will be interesting having a film crew here though. All the merchants in the area are counting the dollars already. We have had a couple of films shot in the area, but not too many.

Yeah, I think that was Karen Harris's opinion, that he had star potential very early on but should start to rely less on his dimples and smile. He was great in SH. I've seen him in a few movies, whilst I don't especially think he's the bees knees I don't think he is bad. He's matured well, still the housewife's favourite.
One of my favourite cities is Vancouver. Whenever we go there and walk the streets we always bump into a few film crews setting up. It's quite fun! I once was walking through a stately home in the UK with a group of friends. A tv show had been filming there previously and they had dressed the place with fake flowers and foliage which they'd left still set up. It was funny, someone (unaware of that fact) remarked that this particular flower couldn't possibly be in season right now and then looked at it closer and found it was plastic! LoL

Talking of film sets, has anyone been on a set at all where it is all still set up with fake props etc? Wondered if Scott or Janice had been on the Universal tour or anything? I do a little extra work in tv and film when I can, but I can only think of one whilst on holiday in Malta. They still have the village set of Sweethaven from the Robin Williams movie, Popeye. It's quite a cute little set, done to such an amazing scale. It really was quite odd to wander around and then walk through a door and there be nothing there! It got me quite interested in set design and dressing. It would have been something I'd love to do if I had been blessed with being more creative. I just love props! I visit a lot of places that have been used in some sort as film locations, but usually just after they've just been there! I was visiting Alnwick in the north of England whilst they were filming Harry Potter but it was a closed set...
