Hey guys, long time no...er...see!
Glad to see the site is still up and running!
Anyway, I've been watching a lot of The Fall Guy recently and I gotta say it's better than I remember it. Some of the episodes have been a bit shaky but the Burton Armus ones have delivered quite nicely.
And Heather Thomas....MOTHER OF GOD was she hot back then!

Hey Stef! Great to have you back buddy. How have you been? I never got The Fall Guy. I just never liked it, period. Lee Majors was too old, he had plastic hair and I never rated him as a good actor. Heather Thomas - healthy girl, who was in a Street Hawk-style movie called "Cyclone" (which wasn't anything to do with vacuum cleaner appliances whatsoever) I much prefered Heather Locklear. Forget Saint Ducati. He hasn't had unholy thoughts in 20 years. Or ever. :-)

Nah, I quite like Lee Majors and I think he had his own hair back then (same as now actually).
I saw an episode the other day with Richard Burton as the guest star...RICHARD BURTON!!
He played himself and you could see it was a right old game performance...very funny. And he was in it for the entire episode (not just a quick cameo).
Heather Thomas is much sexier than Locklear (at the time anyway).
I used to watch The Fall Guy when I was a kid and kind of remembered Doug Barr (as Howie) as being a bit of a git but watching it now, he's quite likeable.
Great theme tune too, real catchy.

The Equalizer! Now, I did like that show. Like so many shows it went on a bit. I enjoyed the first series. Stewart Copeland of The Police provided the theme. Edward Woodward could beat the nuts out of Lee Majors! LoL

I liked The Equalizer but never watched it a whole lot. I love that grainy Nu Yoikness of the titles. I can't remember if it was really filmed in NY...I doubt it.
But it started to get boring like Magnum and Airwolf where a boring story from the protagonists past became a long running theme. Probably another vietnamese lovechild thing...I can't remember.

I have a Equalizer rental tape called "Blood and Wine".
It was a two-parter with William Atherton (Walter Peck)as a loony nut-job baddy. It's pretty good.

No offence, but I've moved this thread "Off-Topic."

How DARE you! I bought the Fall Guy S1 boxset the other day and, apparently, there are all sorts of cuts and edits due to music licensing etc. Paul Williams makes a cameo appearance in the pilot and sings "Crazy" by Patsy Cline. Cut from the boxset, along with any Paul Williams scenes. His name is even removed from the credits! There's also scenes cut that refer to drug and sexual references. Even pop songs that are covered by session artists have been cut! Let's hope that Street Hawk isn't going to get that treatment!

Wow, I have heard this going on with other boxsets, but that's awful to hack and slash a show like that. Wasn't it Miami Vice that also got this treatment for using a lot of music from popular artists? Society is being dumbed down far too much and it's as if we're trying to sanitise things and pretend certain issues don't exist. We must live in fear of minorities 'getting upset.' Sad. :-(

No I have the first 3 seasons on Dvd and all the music is there thank god, A lot of Vice is the music so without that it wouldne be the same, a lot of the stuff was used on Miami Vice soundtrack CD's too. There were even a few of Don Johnsons songs used on the show too, I know I am gonna look stupid saying this but some of his songs are class............altogether Now "Streetwise!"

Stef,
I lack the words to describe how great it is to see you back!
Sad thing is, I never did see the Fall Guy when I was a kid. All I remember are the toys, which basically consisted of an ugly brown GMC pickup truck.
Maybe I'll Netflix Season 1 and give it a look, if it hasn't been chopped up beyond recognition.
Welcome back Stef, we missed ya!
